Heavy Rainfall: The month of September is ending, and the change in weather is visible. People who were troubled by the scorching sun for the past few days may now get some relief. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in several areas of Uttar Pradesh. The next 12 hours may bring difficult conditions for residents as the monsoon is likely to show its effect again.
Rain Situation in Uttar Pradesh
On Saturday, many places in Lucknow and nearby regions saw light to moderate rainfall. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in different parts of the state. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected in some western and eastern areas. The department has advised people to stay alert and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy showers.
Upcoming Weather Forecast
The IMD report mentions that on September 28th, Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms is expected in large parts of Uttar Pradesh. On September 29th, the same conditions will continue in western and eastern regions. From September 30th onwards, weather may start improving gradually. Between October 1st and 2nd, most areas will remain dry, giving relief from constant rainfall.

Heavy Rain Impact in Bihar
Along with Uttar Pradesh, Bihar is also under the radar of the monsoon system. The state has been witnessing unstable weather for a few days. Several districts are expected to receive moderate rain. People in low-lying regions need to stay cautious as waterlogging could create problems in daily life.
Madhya Pradesh Weather Condition
Madhya Pradesh too is experiencing the late phase of monsoon. Some areas of the state may see light to moderate rain showers. However, heavy rainfall activity is limited compared to UP and Bihar. Still, the weather department has suggested that people remain cautious as lightning and thunderstorms may occur in certain regions.
Temperature Levels in Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow recorded 3.6 mm of rain, while Etawah received up to 3 mm. The maximum temperature in most districts ranged between 30°C and 35°C. Meerut reported the highest at 37.2°C, followed by Gorakhpur at 35.4°C and Basti at 35.5°C. Bareilly, Moradabad, and Muzaffarnagar recorded 36.6°C, 35.2°C, and 35.6°C respectively.

Public Advisory from IMD
The Meteorological Department has clearly stated that thunderstorms And Heavy Rainfall, lightning, and sudden rainfall may disturb normal activities. People are advised to stay indoors, especially during peak rain hours. Those living in rural areas and open fields need to be extra careful as lightning strikes remain a big risk.
Relief Expected Soon
After September 29th, rainfall is expected to reduce, and by October 1st and 2nd, most areas of UP, MP, and Bihar may witness dry conditions. The short break from rain will help normal life return to track. Still, people are advised to stay updated with local weather alerts and follow safety guidelines.
