Heavy rains are expected in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh between July 10 and 15. At the same time, the intensity of rain may increase in West Bengal and Odisha from July 13. The Meteorological Department said that strong winds with thunderstorms can blow at a speed of up to 40 km / h in these areas.
Alert in North-West India: Eye on Himachal and Uttarakhand
A heavy rain warning has been issued in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan from July 10 to 15. Apart from this, very heavy rains are also expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh on July 10. IMD said that the possibility of cloudburst or landslides in hilly areas cannot be ruled out.
Western India: Vigilance is necessary regarding Mumbai, Goa and Gujarat
Heavy rains may occur at different places in Mumbai, Konkan, Goa, Saurashtra and Kutch from 10 to 15 July. Heavy rains are also expected in the ghat areas of Maharashtra, which may affect traffic and life.

Heavy rains may occur in the coastal areas of Kerala and Karnataka between 10 and 15 July. Also, sea winds may blow at a speed of 50 km / h in South India for the next five days, due to which fishermen have been advised to stay away from the sea. Light to moderate rains are also expected in Telangana, Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep.
Rain is not stopping in North-East India
A heavy rain warning has been issued in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from 10 to 15 July. The effect of rain will increase in Arunachal Pradesh from July 11, and there is also a possibility of lightning along with thunderstorms.
