Special Ops 2: In today’s era, when there is a buzz of web series everywhere, there are some stories that not only touch the heart but also make you think. One such powerful series is Special Ops 2, in which our favourite RAW agent Himmat Sing, i.e. KK Meno, has returned.

This time, the enemy is invisible, a cyber attack through AI

While the story in the first season focused on the 19-year search for a terrorist mastermind, Special Ops 2 moves in a new and dangerous direction. Now the enemy is going to attack not just with guns and ammunition, but through artificial intelligence (AI). The story begins with the kidnapping of a scientist, who can access the important systems of the country through AI. The villain Tahir Raj Bhasin’s mission is hidden behind the kidnapping of this scientist, which is neither terrorism nor destruction, but a direct attack on India’s UPI control system.

Neeraj Pandey returns to the real world of spy thrillers

With Special Ops 2, director Neeraj Pandey returns to the world where he is most liked, thrillers, espionage and patriotic stories. Some of his previous projects may not have left much of an impression, but in this series, he has once again proved that the real fun lies only in the combination of action and intelligence.

Kay Kay Menon performance as Himmat Singh won hearts once again

Kay Kay Menon, as always, remains the soul of this series. His simplicity, his sharp mind and his ability to make the right decisions at every turn all make him a master of playing a character like Himmat Singh. This season, he is accompanied by Tota Roy Chowdhury (as Vinod Shekhawat), who makes the series more interesting with a strong sub-plot.

Karan Tacker has a little less screen time, but he has done full justice to whatever parts he has been given. Mujmmi Ibrahim once again looks good in his role of fearless agent Avinash. Saiyami Kher also appears in this season, but her character has not been given much screen space. Hopefully, in the coming season, women will also be given more strong roles.

Tahir Raj Bhasin, The biggest strength of this time villain is his mind

The best thing about this season is the villain’s character, played by Tahir Raj Bhasin. The grace, cunning and cleverness with which Tahir has played his role gives goosebumps. He is a villain who neither shouts nor threatens – he just makes his move every moment, and the audience watches his every move carefully because no one knows what he will do next.

A little shortcoming, a little confusion

Although the theme and plot of the series are great, its start seems a little slow. There is a lack of pace in the first few episodes. Also, due to many sub-plots and different investigations being shown simultaneously, the story feels a bit confusing in some places. The action sequences are also not as impressive as they were in the first season – they seem a bit forced, and the camera work also does not add fun to them.

Still, it is a must-watch because this is not just a series, but a warning

Special Ops 2 is a story that tells that in today’s world, wars are fought not only with gunpowder, but also with the mind. And when the security of the country is at stake, spies like Himmat are needed the most.
