1. Paper 1 (Objective Type – Computer Based Test)
- Mode: Online
- Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Total Marks: 200
- Total Questions: 200
- Duration: 2 Hours
Subjects and Marks Distribution:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
- General Knowledge and General Awareness – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
- English Comprehension – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Only candidates who qualify in Paper 1 will appear for this stage.
For Male Candidates:
- 100 meters race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump – 3.65 meters in 3 chances
- High Jump – 1.2 meters in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 lbs) – 4.5 meters in 3 chances
For Female Candidates:
- 100 meters race in 18 seconds
- 800 meters race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump – 2.7 meters in 3 chances
- High Jump – 0.9 meters in 3 chances
3. Paper 2 (Objective Type – English Language & Comprehension)
- Mode: Online
- Questions: 200
- Marks: 200
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Subjects Covered: Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, and Comprehension
Note: Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
4. Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify in Paper 2 are called for a detailed medical examination to check fitness as per SSC norms.
