ICAI CA Selection Process

The ICAI CA Selection Process consists of several stages that a candidate must clear to become a Chartered Accountant (CA) in India. The process is explained below:

CA Foundation Course (First Stage)
- This is the entry-level examination for students who have passed Class 12.
- It includes four papers covering subjects like Accounting, Business Laws, Mathematics, and Economics.
CA Intermediate Course (Second Stage)
- After qualifying the Foundation exam or through the Direct Entry route (for graduates), students can register for this stage.
- The Intermediate level has two groups, each consisting of four papers.
- After passing both groups, candidates must undergo practical training.
Articleship Training (Practical Training)

CA Final Course (Final Stage)
- After completing Articleship and passing both Intermediate groups, candidates can appear for the Final exam.
