GATE 2026 Application Fee

GATE 2026 application fee details are as follows:

For one paper (regular period):

Female / SC / ST / PwD candidates – ₹1000
All other candidates – ₹2000

For one paper (late period):

Female / SC / ST / PwD candidates – ₹1500
All other candidates – ₹2500

If a candidate chooses to appear for an additional paper, the same fee is applicable for each paper.

Click on the New Registration option appear on the homepage.
Register as a new candidate by entering your name, email ID, mobile number and other basic details.
Upon registration, you’ll receive a unique Enrollment ID (or Registration ID) and password, sent to the registered email/mobile.
Log in using the enrollment ID and password.
Fill the application form with personal, academic and communication details.
Select your preferred GATE paper and exam city choices.
Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature and other required certificates in the prescribed format.
Review all the details carefully and pay the application fee online.
