Karan Johar’s upcoming reality show The Traitors will feature a mix of TV celebrities and popular social media stars. A total of 20 contestants from the film and entertainment world are part of the show. A glimpse of all the participants was shown in the recently released trailer.
Even before the show started, the names of many contestants were being discussed. Now, with the release of the trailer, the makers have officially confirmed the full list. The 20 contestants include:
Urfi Javed, Apoorva Mukhija, Harsh Gujral, Anshula Kapoor, Jannat Zubair, Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar (rapper), Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sufi Motiwala, and others. Karan Johar will be seen as the host of the show.
Where and When to Watch The Traitors?
Karan Johar’s The Traitors will stream on Amazon Prime Video. The trailer shows that the contestants will pretend to be friends while secretly trying to deceive one another. In the beginning, a few contestants are secretly chosen as “traitors.” Their task is to eliminate the other contestants from the game without being caught. The show will premiere on June 12 on Amazon Prime Video, and new episodes will be released every Thursday at 8 PM.
The Traitors’ Concept
Twenty players live together in a big palace. Some of them are secretly chosen as Traitors by the host, Karan Johar. Their job is to quietly remove the Innocents without anyone knowing. In the daytime, all the players work together to win tasks and add money to the prize. But at night, the Traitors choose one Innocent and secretly “remove” them from the game. Every day ends with a meeting at the Round Table. All the players vote to guess who the Traitors are. But sometimes they make the wrong choice and vote out an Innocent by mistake. If the Innocents find all the Traitors, they win and share the prize. But if even one Traitor stays hidden until the end, that Traitor wins all the money.
