The name Mahindra Scorpio N always brings a smile to the face of SUV lovers in India. When its booking started, 1,00,000 units were booked in just 30 minutes, showing its unmatched popularity. Now, Mahindra is preparing to launch its facelift version, and the excitement is already high. Recently, the new Scorpio N Facelift was spotted testing, giving a glimpse of the fresh design and feature updates.

Engine

The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift is expected to continue with the same powerful engine setup. It will feature the 2.0L turbo-petrol engine producing 200 bhp and 370 Nm torque and the 2.2L turbo-diesel engine with 172 bhp and 370 Nm torque. There are also expectations that Mahindra might bring the XUV700’s more powerful 185 bhp and 450 Nm diesel version for better performance. Both manual (MT) and automatic (AT) gearbox options will be available, along with a 4WD system for off-road enthusiasts.

Mileage

The mileage figures are expected to remain similar to the current model. The petrol variant may deliver around 11–12 kmpl, while the diesel version could return 14–15 kmpl depending on the driving conditions. Mahindra’s focus this time seems to be on refinement and performance rather than mileage upgrades. The SUV will still maintain its balance between power and fuel efficiency, which makes it a practical choice for long drives and city commutes.

Other Specifications

The new Scorpio N Facelift will see many design tweaks and technology upgrades. It is likely to come with a new front grille, updated bumpers, and sporty LED headlamps with a redesigned DRL pattern. On the inside, a large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital TFT instrument cluster, and panoramic sunroof are expected to be added. The facelift model will also likely feature ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and a Harman Kardon sound system replacing the Sony setup.

Price and Offer

Mahindra has not yet disclosed any official details about the pricing, but reports suggest that the facelift model could come with a slight price hike. Currently, the Scorpio N starts at around ₹13.85 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹24 lakh for the top variant. With new features and upgrades, the price of the facelift version could see an increase of ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh, depending on the variant.

Another Features

The facelift model of Scorpio N might include expanded ADAS features which are currently limited to the top Z8L variant. This move will improve both safety and driving comfort. Mahindra could also refine its suspension setup and steering for better handling. Wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, and connected car technology are expected to enhance the premium feel inside the cabin.

Look and Design

The biggest change in the new Scorpio N will be its exterior styling. The front fascia will receive new LED elements, a bolder grille, and muscular bumpers that will make it look even more rugged. Despite these changes, Mahindra is expected to retain the bold “Big Daddy of SUVs” stance that makes Scorpio N so iconic. The rear section might get a tweaked tail-lamp design for a fresher look.

Performance

Performance has always been a strong point for Scorpio N, and the facelift version will continue this legacy. The turbocharged engines will deliver excellent power with smoother gear shifts. The SUV’s off-road ability will remain top-notch, especially with the 4WD setup. Improved NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) levels and tuning are expected to make the driving experience more refined and comfortable.
