After a strong run in theatres, Malayalam cinema veteran Mohanlal’s blockbuster film Thudarum is now ready for its OTT release. The film created history in Kerala by earning over ₹100 crore and winning the hearts of the audience. It was released in theatres on April 25. Now, after about a month, it is set to release on an OTT platform.

Thudaram is a crime thriller film directed by Tharun Murthy. The film stars Mohanlal, Shobhana, Prakash Verma, and Thomas Mathew. The story is about a taxi driver named Shanmugham, who is lovingly called ‘Benz’. He loves his old Ambassador car very much. But one day, his car gets involved in a police case, and his life changes completely. The story shows his fight for truth and justice.

When and where will Thudaram be available online?
So far, Thudaram has earned more than ₹232.25 crore worldwide. It is now the third highest-earning Malayalam film. In its fourth weekend, the film made ₹9.8 crore, showing that people still love it.
JioHotstar has bought the rights to show this film online. But since the film is still earning well in theatres, the OTT release may be delayed. Usually, films come on OTT after four weeks, but Thudaram may take more time.
