Mahindra has once again created excitement in the SUV market. The company is preparing to launch the 2026 facelift version of its popular SUV, the XUV700. Several glimpses and spy videos of this model have already surfaced on social media, showcasing its bold design updates and advanced features. With this launch, Mahindra aims to strengthen its position in the premium SUV segment once again.

Engine

The Mahindra XUV700 Facelift continues with the same powerful engine lineup as the current model. It comes with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 197 bhp power and 380 Nm torque. Alongside, the 2.2-litre diesel engine offers 182 bhp in the manual gearbox and 420 Nm torque in the automatic, while the higher variant produces up to 450 Nm torque. The SUV will also come with four driving modes – Eco, Normal, Sport, and Off-Road – ensuring a smooth and versatile driving experience across terrains.

Mileage

The company has not yet revealed the official mileage figures for the facelift model. However, it is expected to deliver a fuel efficiency similar to the current XUV700, which offers around 12–15 km/l depending on the engine and variant. The new driving modes may help in optimizing fuel economy further, especially in city conditions where Eco mode will be most useful.

Other Specifications

The Mahindra XUV700 Facelift is expected to bring both performance and comfort together. The SUV will feature ADAS Level 2+, panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake, multi-zone automatic climate control, and USB Type-C charging ports. It will also include front ventilated seats and a new illuminated Mahindra logo on the two-spoke steering wheel. The addition of the auto-hold function and modern safety features makes this facelift one of the most technologically advanced SUVs in its class.

Price and Offer

As of now, Mahindra has not officially announced the price of the XUV700 Facelift. However, it is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current version, which ranges between ₹14 lakh and ₹26 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model’s advanced features and premium design are likely to justify the higher price. The SUV will directly compete with Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus once launched.

Another Features

This new facelift model will come with significant feature upgrades. It includes updated ADAS, a 360-degree camera setup, and a more responsive infotainment system. The inclusion of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will enhance connectivity. The improved cabin insulation and upgraded sound system will make the driving experience more luxurious.

Look and Design

The biggest change in the facelifted Mahindra XUV700 is its new exterior design. It now sports a fresh front grille with six vertical slats arranged in a V-shape pattern. The LED projector headlamps with U-shaped chrome elements look more premium. A connecting LED light bar joins both headlights, giving the SUV a more futuristic look. The bold and stylish bumper further enhances its road presence, making it appear more muscular and modern.

Performance

In terms of performance, the XUV700 Facelift is expected to maintain its strong reputation. With its powerful engine options, four drive modes, and improved aerodynamics, the SUV ensures a refined yet thrilling drive. Mahindra’s suspension tuning and chassis balance make it equally comfortable for highway cruising and city drives. The improved steering response and braking system will provide better control and confidence to drivers.
