‘The war is not over yet, there is no negligence at any level’

New Delhi: A big news has come out regarding the Kovid-19 epidemic that the country is now seeing another type of corona infection disappearing. However, reinfecting delta or other associated mutations have become a matter of concern. According to a report released by the Indian SARS-COV-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG) on Thursday, 1,15,101 samples of genome sequences have been successfully tested in the country.

According to the information received so far, 45,394 (69%) of these critical category mutations have been found. Invasive mutations such as delta and delta plus have been observed in 41,000 of these samples. Not only this, delta in 28,820, delta plus in 5,450 and age group mutation have been found in 6,611. INSACOG has said that other mutations of the virus are now weakening in the country. Mutations like gamma are completely gone. No other major mutation has been reported in COVID-19 so far.

The war is not over yet, there is no negligence at any level: Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the fight against Kovid is in the final stages. In the meeting of the State Health Minister, he said that there should be no negligence at any level.
