It failed to impress cinephiles, and did poorly over the weekend. It opened slowly at the box-office and was reportedly one of the worst opening days of actor’s career. On its first day in Telugu-speaking countries, the film earned Rs 1.65 Cr shares.
Career lowest opening for Naga
His previous releases, Love Story, had earned him Rs 7.13 Cr shares and Majili Rs 5.6 Cr shares. Bangarraju, a multi-starrer, had made Rs 9.06 Crore shares the first day. The actor’s lowest opening is Thank You.
TFI (Telugu Film Industry) is in trouble and the flick had some hope of breaking the drought at the box office. However, the film’s disappointing results on Day 1 made it clear that TFI must deliver another event film such as RRR to end this dry spell. The medium-budget films are not working.

Naga Chaitanya witnessed a significant drop in occupancy on Day 2. This was especially evident during morning shows. On day 1, the film had 22.06% morning occupancy, which dropped to 13.17% on day 2, On its first Saturday, the film made Rs 1.65 Cr gross.
Box Office Collection Day 3
Yuva Samrat’s film is unlikely to rebound at the box-office as its early trends on Day 3 are not in his favor. The film will also show a subpar increase on Sunday, according to the occupancy report.
According to estimates, Thank You, Naga Chaitanya’s starrer film, will gross in the region of Rs 22.2 crore gross on Sunday (Day 3), bringing the worldwide total to Rs 7.5 Crores.
