Samsung Galaxy M32 5G smartphone has arrived. For Indian consumers, the new arrival offers another 5G smartphone option in the company’s list. However, there is one major drawback: the spec sheet is ineffective. Samsung is offering a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display at a starting price of Rs 20,999. There is also a variant with 8GB RAM for Rs 22,999. In addition, Samsung is offering an instant cashback of Rs 2,000 on ICICI credit cards as an introductory offer.
A few years ago, TFT display panels were used in many smartphones. The Galaxy M32 5G’s screen resolution is 720×1600 pixels, which is lower than the cheaper Redmi 9 Power, which sports a full-HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. To put things in perspective, the Redmi 9 Power is priced at Rs 10,999 in India.
Samsung’s new Galaxy M32 5G also offers 60Hz refresh rate at this price point, while rivals like Mi 10i, iQOO Z3 and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max offer 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy M32 5G only supports 15W fast charging, which is one of the lowest fast charging support in the price category. In terms of software, the Galaxy M32 5G will come with a two-year guaranteed OS upgrade from Samsung. Under the hood, the Galaxy M32 5G packs a Dimensity 720 processor.
