In the national capital Delhi, gold and silver prices rose on Thursday. According to HDFC Securities, gold rose by Rs 182 to Rs 45,975 per 10 grams today due to increase in international prices. In previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 45,793 per 10 grams. With the rise in gold today, silver also became expensive by Rs 682 to Rs 66,175 per kg, compared to Rs 65,450 per kg in the previous trade.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said 24-carat gold prices in Delhi rose by Rs 182, driven by the rise in COMEX (New York-based commodity exchange) gold prices. In the international market, gold remained flat at US $ 1,744 an ounce and silver at US $ 25.30 an ounce.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange at 04:38 pm, in June 2021, the price of delivery gold was trending at Rs 46655 per 10 gram with an increase of Rs 293.00 i.e. 0.63 per cent. Similarly, the rate of delivery gold in August was up by Rs 257.00, ie 0.55 per cent, at Rs 46603.00 per 10 grams.

In May 2021 at 04:40 pm on the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of silver was trending at Rs 67275.00 per kg with an increase of Rs 641.00, ie 0.96 per cent.
