In the Super-12 round of the World Cup against Pakistan on 24 October, the Indian team lost its first match in Group-2. Team India has lost for the first time by winning 12 consecutive matches in all World Cups against Pakistan. Which surprised everyone. Pakistan won by 10 wickets, making India’s wait difficult. However, the Indian team has a lot of time to prepare itself. Because the second match of the team is on 31 October. In such a situation, the team rested for two days and then returned to the field on Wednesday 27 October.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India posted some pictures of Team India’s practice session on its social media account on Wednesday evening. In which Indian players were seen engaged in special fielding drills. Many players including captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul were divided into 4-4 groups. Four players from each group stood very close to each other and then practiced catching while throwing the ball.

A look at Hardik’s fitness and bowling
However, the biggest news coming out of the practice session was not seen in the pictures. But he was excited for Team India and the fans. This news came about the fitness of all-rounder Hardik Pandya. According to reports, Hardik, who was injured while batting in the match against Pakistan, passed the fitness test during the practice session. This was the first time that Hardik was seen bowling. Hardik also bowled a few overs in the nets against Shardul Thakur and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Although, it is too early to say whether he will bowl against New Zealand or not, but it would have given some relief from the start.

Virat Kohli hit the bowlers
After this Hardik also batted for some time. Apart from Hardik, captain Virat Kohli was also seen batting. According to TV9 reporter Shubhayan Chakraborty in Dubai, Indian captain Virat Kohli was attacking the bowlers and playing big shots during the nets session. Which is a good sign in terms of preparation for the next match.
