Tata Motors To Launch Seven Cars In India This Year 2022
Tata Motors’ aggressive strategy for the year 2022 is visible. Seven cars can be launched by the company in the Indian market this year. However, most of these cars will be updated versions of the company’s older cars in the market. These will include updated versions of the Tata Nexon EV and Tata Tigor EV, petrol variants of Tata Harrier and Tata Safari, Tata Nexon dual-clutch AT, Tata Nexon CNG and Tata Altroz EV. Tata Nexon EV (Long Range)
The updated Tata Nexon EV can be given a bigger battery pack of 40kWh than before, which can give its range closer to 400km. Its motor can be capable of generating 136PS of power. However, its launch date has not been announced.
2022 Tata Tigor EV
2022 Tata Tigor EV is currently in the testing phase. It can also be launched soon. Along with new features, cosmetic changes can also be seen in this. A bigger battery pack can also be given in this, due to which its range can be from 375km to 400km on a single charge.
Tata Harrier/Safari Petrol
Petrol variants of the 2022 Tata Harrier and Safari are also in the line-up for launch. These have been seen many times during testing. The Harrier petrol can be had with an automatic gearbox and multiple drive modes. Both may get 1.6L Turbo DI petrol engine. However, the power and torque generating capacity of both can be different.
Tata Nexon Dual-Clutch AT
The Tata Nexon could be offered with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Its engine can generate 120PS maximum power and 170Nm peak torque.
Tata Nexon CNG
Tata Nexon is a subcompact SUV, which the company is planning to bring in the CNG version. Tata Nexon CNG is being tested. It could get a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a factory fitted CNG kit.
Tata Altroz EV
The Tata Altroz EV is likely to arrive later this year. Updated Ziptron technology can be used in this. It can give a range of more than 300 km. The Altroz EV may get some cosmetic changes as compared to the regular Altroz.
