‘Taliban’ team came out to play cricket in Rajasthan, ‘Aladdin Khan Trophy’ organized

Jaipur: Many Afghan cricketers like Rashid Khan have caught the attention of the whole world in the last few years. But there has been uncertainty about the future of cricket in Afghanistan since the advent of the Taliban. Cricketers are under stress. At the same time, there have been reports of a cricket team named ‘Taliban’ participating in a local tournament in Rajasthan.

According to reports, a team named Taliban had arrived in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan to play the Aladdin Khan Memorial Cricket Trophy. The team also played a match in which it won. However, after criticism on social media, the organizers apologized and pulled the team out of the tournament. Tournament organizer Ismail Khan clarified that there were online applications for cricket. So we could not pay attention to it. We apologize to all.

Let us tell you that the tournament is organized every year in Jesurana village of Jaisalmer. This year it started from 22 August 2021. Meanwhile, many players of the cricket-crazy Afghanistan national team have not been able to concentrate on their game since the Taliban took over. Due to this, the ODI series between Pakistan and Afghanistan from September 3 has been postponed.
