Pardeep Narwal breaks record, sold for Rs. 1.65 crores to this team

After being bought by UP Yoddha for Rs 1.65 crore, magical raider Pradeep Narwal broke an all-time record by becoming the highest-purchased Kabaddi player in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history. Narwal was bought by UP Yoddha on Monday, August 30, the second day of the PKL auction for Season 8, which will take place in December.

A media release issued by PKL of late said, “Pradeep continues to rewrite the history books, his price tag now canceling out another star raider Monu Goyat, who was bought by Haryana Steelers at 1.51 in Season 6. Bought it for Rs. Monday night.

After spending five seasons with Patna Pirates, Narwal now finds himself in a new home. Meanwhile, Siddharth Desai was retained by Telugu Titans for Rs 1.30 crore from his base price of Rs 30 lakh through Final Bid Match (FBM) card. More than 22 foreign players were sold on the second day.
