Team India opener Prithvi Shaw shares a good relationship with opener Sikhar as they have spent a lot of time together. Prithvi Shaw’s scintillating knock of 43 off 24 balls was a highlight of his ability as he was playing T20s and not ODIs. Shikhar Dhawan (86*) and Ishan Kishan (59) performed brilliantly with the bat as India beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Prithvi Shaw said on Star Sports show Follow the Blues, “Shikhar Dhawan and I open together for Delhi Capitals. Although we were good friends before Delhi Capitals, our relationship has strengthened by opening together. ” “Off the field, we used to spend a lot of time together, whether it was having dinner together or chilling in his room,” Shaw said. He further said, “When I play for India or any other team, I always put the team ahead. Obviously, I want to go there and win the series for India. We used to talk a lot and our bond was visible. On the wicket (during the game). Whether it was off the field or in between overs, we used to talk a lot. I really enjoy practicing with him.”
