Bhavina Patel won the semi-final match just one step away from the ‘gold medal’

New Delhi: The ongoing Paralympic Games in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, has brought great news for India. India’s star table tennis player Bhavna Patel has made it to the finals. Bhavna Patel is now just one step away from winning India’s maiden gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.

However, the challenge against Bhavna Patel in the semi-final was not easy. Bhavna Patel has defeated the world number three player Mayo in this match. Bhavina Patel defeated Miao 3-2 (7-11, 11-7, 11-4, 9-11, 11-8) in the clash. With the final, Bhavna Patel secured her first medal for India at the Tokyo Paralympic Games. Bhavna Patel made a spectacular comeback after losing the first game in the semi-finals. Bhavna tightened her grip on the match by winning the second and third games. But they lost the fourth game.

However, Bhawna bounced back and won the fifth game to become the first table tennis player from India to reach the Paralympic final. Bhavna Patel will now win the gold medal by landing on the field on August 29. Bhawna will face Zhou Ying of China in the final.
