Mumbai: An investigation has been started into the allegations leveled against Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai. Cruise drugs case witness Prabhakar SAIL, probing Sameer Wankhede, has alleged that a Rs 25 crore deal was struck in return for the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.
Prabhakar Cell had stirred up money transactions by taking the name of Sameer Wankhede. After which the Vigilance team of NCB is now investigating the matter. Earlier, Mumbai Police has started investigation by not registering an FIR in this case. NCB has constituted a team of 5 members to investigate the matter. The team reached Mumbai from Delhi on Wednesday. NCB Deputy Director General Dnyaneshwar Singh said that the team of 5 members has reached Mumbai from Delhi.
He said that a team has been constituted to ascertain the veracity of the allegations of Prabhakar cell. The documents and all the records have been taken from the NCB office. Witnesses have also been called. We have started the investigation in the matter and the statements of witnesses will be taken soon. Dnyaneshwar Singh said that any witness will be needed in the investigation, but I will not name anyone right now.
