According to media reports, Indian two wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield is rapidly working on three new 650cc motorcycles – 650cc Cruiser, Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650. These models are being tested, they have been spotted several times during testing. New Royal Enfield 650cc Cruiser
The Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser motorcycle that was spotted during testing featured a low-ridden seat with the rider’s feet facing forward. However, its seat will be longer than that of the Meteor. Also, it got LED headlamps, alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, upside down forks, forward-set footpegs and twin-cylinder exhaust. It also featured a chrome finish treatment.
The bike will get dual-channel ABS (Antilock Braking System) along with single front and rear disc brakes. Like the conventional cruiser, this model can get 130-section tires with smaller wheels at the rear than the front. Apart from this, the bike can be offered with a semi-digital twin pod instrument cluster with tripper navigation system.

Talking about its features, it is likely to get halogen headlamps, mid-set footpegs, wire-spoke wheels and conventional telescopic fork front suspension. Its wheel and tire size will be different from the 650cc cruiser. Unlike the 650cc cruiser, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will get a sporty matte black finish.

Both these upcoming 650cc bikes from Royal Enfield could be powered by the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. However, the motor can be calibrated to deliver different power and torque outputs. Both the bikes could be available with a 6-speed gearbox.
