Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 small piece of ginger (crushed)
- 4–5 fresh tulsi (holy basil) leaves
- 1 teaspoon tea leaves
- 1 cup milk (optional)
- Sugar, jaggery, or honey (as per taste)

Method of Preparation
- Boil water in a pan.
- Add crushed ginger and tulsi leaves to the boiling water.
- Let it boil for 2–3 minutes so the flavors mix well.
- Add tea leaves and boil for another minute.
- Add milk if you prefer milk tea and boil once more.
- Strain the tea into a cup and add sugar, jaggery, or honey as desired.
