New Delhi: Before the proposed assembly elections next year, PM Narendra Modi is once again on a tour of Uttar Pradesh and this time will visit Jhansi. PM Modi is to have a program in Jhansi on Friday and on the occasion of Rani Laxmibai’s birth anniversary, PM Modi will launch many defense initiatives under ‘Rashtra Raksha Sanskar Parv’. He will also dedicate Atal Ekta Park.
According to the information released by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), during his visit to Jhansi on November 19, PM Modi will launch several defense initiatives in the ‘Rashtra Raksha Sanskar Parv’ to be organized as ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ and give a helping hand to the nation. Will dedicate ‘Independence’ in Jhansi from November 17 to 19. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for a Rs 400 crore project at the Jhansi node of the UP Defense Industrial Corridor to build a propulsion system for anti-tank guided missiles.
PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the Anti-Tank Guided Missiles developed by Bharat Dynamics Limited during his visit to Jhansi. It is also the first project for propulsion of anti-tank guided missiles. The cost of this project is around Rs 400 crore. Not only this, the drones to be handed over to the army have been designed and designed by Indian start-up companies.
