Kabul: The Taliban will announce their new government in Afghanistan today. The responsibility of the new Taliban government can be handed over to Mullah Baradar. Reuters claimed this on Friday. Reuters quoted the Taliban as claiming that the Taliban will form its new government in Kabul on Friday and Mullah Baradar will lead the government.
Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanakzai, son of Taliban founder Mullah Omar, Mullah Mohammad Jacob, will also be given key positions in the Taliban government. The Taliban had been preparing to form a new government in Kabul for a long time. Decoration continues in Kabul’s Rashtrapati Bhavan, new flags are being prepared and recently new videos have also been released. Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, born in 1968, is the second leader of the Taliban. Mullah Baradar is counted among the founders of the Taliban. Mullah Baradar played an important role when the Taliban ruled Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001.
However, after 2001, when the US entered Afghanistan, Mullah Baradar fled to Pakistan. In 2010, Pakistan jailed Mullah Baradar, who was accused of trying to talk to the Afghan government without keeping Pakistan in the loop.
