Kabul: Shocking news has come to the fore in the midst of the ongoing power crisis within the tank organization Taliban. The report claimed that supreme leader Hibatullah Akhundzada has been killed in a bloody conflict between the Haqqani network and the Taliban. Deputy Prime Minister Mulla Baradar has been taken hostage.
This claim has been made by a British magazine. The report says that the Baradar camp has suffered the most in the bloody struggle for power. With the formation of the government in Afghanistan, a major conflict started in the Taliban. There was a clash between the Baradar faction and the Haqqani network over the sharing of power. The magazine claimed that the Haqqani network and the Taliban had a meeting in September on government formation. A heated argument broke out between the two factions in the meeting. Meanwhile, Haqqani network leader Khalil-ul-Rahman started punching Haqqani Mullah Baradar. After this, there was fierce fighting between the two groups and there was news of Baradar being shot.
After this struggle, Bardar did not appear in front of anyone for several days. There were speculations that Baradar died of bullet injuries. After this came a video of Baradar in which he described himself as healthy. The magazine claims that following that conflict, Baradar was taken hostage by the Haqqani network at an undisclosed location and that the video was forcibly taken from him.
