Corona virus situation worsens in Africa, cases are increasing steadily


Africa / America: The Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) said in a statement, the confirmed number of Kovid-19 cases in Africa has crossed 43,01,375.

The Africa Disease Control and African Union’s Special Health Agency said on Thursday that the epidemic was 114,598, while the continent’s 3,868,129 patients recovered from the disease, Xinhua reported.

According to the Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Ethiopia and Egypt are among the continent’s highest-case African countries.

In terms of number of cases, Southern Africa is the most affected region, followed by North Africa and East Africa, while Central Africa is the least affected region in the continent according to the African Health Agency.

According to the Africa CDC, African countries have received approximately 33.8 million Kovid-19 vaccine supplements from various sources, mainly through bilateral agreements outside the COVAX facility and the COVAX facility.

US Vaccine Shot: As of Thursday, approximately 174 million Kovid-19 vaccine shots have been administered in the US, while more than 229 million Kovid-19 vaccine doses have been distributed nationwide.
