California Governor Gavin Newsome on Tuesday announced a target date to fully open the economy as more California residents continue to decline COVID-19 vaccines and hospitalization rates.
The entire state will step into this phase on June 15, if two criteria are met;
Shashit declared, “This is a big day in the context of the epidemic … We will move beyond the blueprint and move the dimmer switch, getting rid of the color levels.” If we continue our good work on June 15, Newsom was quoted as saying in the news conference.
“We will need to be vigilant, and continue the practices that we found here – wearing masks and getting vaccinated – but the light at the end of this tunnel has never been brighter.” California, one of the worst-affected US states, has suffered 3,583,830 coronavirus viruses and 58,541 deaths so far. He added.
According to the state government, California is scheduled to administer more than 20 million vaccine doses, including 4 million in the state’s toughest communities.
