NCB to oppose Aryan Khan’s bail plea in High Court today

Mumbai: Aryan Khan’s bail plea in the Mumbai Cruise Drugs Party case is to be heard once again in the Mumbai High Court i.e. at 2.30 pm today. Let us tell you that today will be the third day of hearing in the Mumbai High Court. Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamiya’s arguments were completed last Wednesday and now NCB will take a stand on it today. According to reports, ASG Anil Singh will defend NCB in court. He had said in the court last Wednesday that he would try to make his point in an hour.

You must be aware that Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who were arrested on October 3 in connection with drug discovery during NCB raid on a cruise near Mumbai coast, are still in jail. Last Wednesday, after hearing the bail plea for nearly two hours, Justice Sambre said, “Tomorrow we will try to complete it.” Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Aryan Khan yesterday, argued that “arrest Constitutional violation. Actual and correct grounds were not mentioned in the provisions of the arrest warrant.

Senior advocate Amit Desai, appearing for Arbaaz Merchant, drew attention to the bail granted by a special court in NDPS cases to two accused in the same case – Manish Rajgarhia and Evin Sahu – on Tuesday. He said that the allegations against him are similar. Rather, 2.6 grams of ganja was found from one of them while the other had consumed it. Apart from this, Amit Desai also said that these boys (Aryan and Merchant) should be given bail on the basis of liberty if not on the basis of equality. Release them on bail on strict conditions.
