Today, the price of diesel has increased by 30 paise in Delhi, while in other cities, the prices have increased a lot. Petrol prices have reached an all-time high in Delhi and Mumbai. Petrol and diesel prices have been increasing since Tuesday.
According to the website of Indian Oil, on Saturday the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 88.44 per liter, while in Mumbai it is Rs 94.93. Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 89.73 per liter and in Chennai it is Rs 90.70 per liter. Talking about diesel, in Delhi today it is Rs 78.74 per liter. The price of diesel in Mumbai is 85.70 per liter, in Kolkata the price of diesel is Rs 82.33 per liter, in Chennai the diesel is Rs 83.86 per liter.
Petrol price in Mumbai has reached Rs 95 per liter. If crude oil prices rise further, petrol prices can also cross Rs 100 per liter. However, the price of crude oil has softened again for two sessions, which can be expected to rein in the continued increase in the price of both vehicle fuels.
