Lalu Prasad’s bail plea has been listed for hearing in the court of Jharkhand High Court Judge Aparesh Kumar Singh. Presenting the answer in court on behalf of Lalu Prasad, it is said that he has completed 42 months in jail, he has completed half of the sentence given. Therefore, they should be given bail. The petitioner’s counsel Kapil Sibal and CBI counsel Rajeev Sinha had submitted their views through video conferencing from their respective residence. During the court hearing, Advocate Rajiv Sinha on behalf of the CBI opposed the bail and sought time to present his reply on the reply given by Lalu Prasad. Giving time, the court had earlier set the date for February 12.
