New Delhi: The entire north India including Delhi-NCR trembled due to earthquake at 10:34 pm on Friday night. The Richter scale earthquake was 6.3. The epicenter of the earthquake was about 90 kilometers below ground in Tajikistan. The earthquake caused panic among the people and they came out of the houses due to fear.

When the Earth was shaking due to the earthquake, the frightened people were standing outside their homes. During the earthquake, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi was talking to students of the University of Chicago from New Delhi through video conferencing. As the earthquake struck, Rahul was heard saying that his entire room was shaking. Its video is also going viral on Twitter.

On the other hand, National Conference leader and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah tweeted, “Srinagar forced me to move out of the house after the earthquake in 2005. I grabbed a blanket and ran out of the house. I did not do it during that time. I don’t even remember taking my phone, so when the ground was shaking he could not tweet ‘earthquake’. ”
