MG Motors Partnership With Bharat Petroleum For EV Charging Station
MG Motors Charging Station: MG Motor India announced that it has partnered with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to strengthen the electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country. It aims to provide EV charging solutions for the convenience of customers in India over the next 4-5 years. MG also says that they are the first passenger car company to tie up with BPCL to rapidly adopt ‘Green Mobility’.
In line with MG’s vision of “ChangeWhatYouCan”, this partnership with BPCL aims to accelerate EV adoption in India by expanding the opportunities for inter-city travel. Both companies are planning to install EV chargers on highways and within cities. “With BPCL’s greater consumer reach and operations and MG’s advancement in the EV space, both companies are strategically positioning technology to identify charging sites, gain consumer insight, develop loyalty programs and manage charging systems,” the company said.
