The engine is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with 4Matic AWD (all-wheel-drive) system. The automaker says that the A45 S can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds which is quite impressive and has a top speed of 270 kmph which is electronically limited. The car also gets a multi-plate clutch with torque vectoring, which means that varying amounts of power is being sent to the rear axle.
