Grand Vitara will launch in two trims, namely mild-hybrid or intelligent electric hybrid. The Toyota Highrider was launched in Neo Drive and Hybrid trims. Both models use Hybrid technology. They both use the 1.5-liter petrol engine of Maruti’s K series. It can produce a maximum power output of 102 bhp and torque output of 137 Nm. Both cars can be equipped with either manual or automatic gearboxes.

Both cars share many similarities. The Grand Vitara’s cabin is slightly more luxurious than that of the Hyrider. Both SUVs come with Heads-Up Displays (HUD), a 9-inch large touchscreen infotainment screen, electrically adjustable ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and an electric sunroof. There are also safety features such as automatic climate control, parking camera and sensors, EBD, antilock braking system (ABS), hill assist, and EBD.

Maruti’s Grand Vitara looks very similar to the S-Cross that is sold worldwide. New dual-pod projector headlamps are installed on the car. They also have new roof rails and dual-tone rear and front bumpers. The taillights feature wrap-around LEDs.
Toyota’s Highrider features lower-position LED headlamps and a narrow chrome strip, as well as LED DRLs and a front grille that is similar to the Glanza.
Both cars have the largest sunroofs in their segment. These are both C-segment SUV vehicles. These cars were built using Toyota’s global platform TNGAB.

Toyota Highrider starts at Rs 15.11 lakh. The top-spec version costs Rs 18.99 lakh.
Experts believe the Grand Vitara’s price range is between Rs 9.50 lakh and Rs 15.50 lakh depending on the model. The Grand Vitara is therefore a cheaper option.
