New Delhi: Virat Kohli has recently announced to quit the captaincy of India’s T20 team and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Kohli has said that he will leave Team India after the T20 World Cup and will also leave the captaincy of Bengaluru after this season of IPL. His fans are very disappointed with this decision of Kohli. But now Kohli has broken his silence on this issue. He said that workload management is the biggest reason behind the decision. Kohli said in an interview to Star Sports that he wants to do anything with 120 per cent passion.
Kohli said, “The main reason for this was workload earlier. I don’t want to be dishonest about my responsibilities. If I can’t give 120 per cent for some work, I’m not one of those people who will catch them. I I am not associated with any such thing and it has always been clear in my mind.” Kohli took over the reins of Bangalore in the 2013 IPL season. Daniel Vettori was the captain of the team before him. Has reached the playoffs four times and made it to the final in 2016. The 32-year-old has made it clear that he will step down from the Bangalore captaincy after this season.
Curious to know what prompted @imVkohli to step down from captaincy? 🤔

Meanwhile, Kohli will try to end his team’s title drought and make them champions for the first time. Although Kohli will not captain RCB from next year, he has made it clear that he would like to play for RCB till his last breath. It is believed that the team will retain Kohli in the mega auction to be held in 2022.
