Mahindra eXUV 400: The country’s strong auto maker Mahindra & Mahindra is now going to make a tremendous entry in the electric vehicle segment with a new electric car. Mahindra will unwheel its first electric car Mahindra eXUV 400 in September 2022. In the midst of all this, the company (Mahindra) has received an investment of Rs 1925 crore from British International Investment (BII), a UK-based development finance institution, to expand the electric mobility business in other countries including India.

Both the companies will come together to strengthen their portfolio in the electric segment. According to Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Auto & Force Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra, the company is working to become a leading position in the electric SUV segment in the country. Along with this, in the coming times, plans are being made to launch electric cars with better design, latest technology and tremendous battery range.

Let us tell you that Mahindra will unveil the concept model of its 3 electric SUVs in the UK on August 15. After this, in September 2022, the upcoming eXUV 400 will be introduced in the Indian market.

These will be the cool features

Talking about the features, this upcoming electric car will be heavily inspired by the company’s popular SUV XUV300. But the eXUV400 may be longer than the XUV300. Its length will be close to 4.2 meters. The eXUV400 will be developed on the Mahindra Electric Scalable and Modular Architectural (MESMA) platform. It is also expected to get the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) feature. Mahindra can launch this electric SUV in the market with 350V and 380V battery options. Talking about the range, it can be run between 200km to 375km on a single charge.

The upcoming Mahindra eXUV 400 has been waiting for a long time in the country. There has also been continuous news about its launch.
