The work of collecting funds for the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is going on very fast. So far, more than 1500 crore has been deposited for this. This nationwide campaign, started by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on the occasion of Makar Sankranti last month, has accumulated so much amount in less than 30 days.

Swami Govind Dev Giri, treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra said, “As per the data available on Thursday (February 11) evening, Rs. 1,511 crore has been collected for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.”
Champat Rai, secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Nyas, said, ‘People of all classes have given a lot of donations for the construction of the temple. About one and a half lakh workers of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad are collecting donations from house to house for the Ram temple. For this, accounts have been opened at State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda. ‘The fund dedication campaign for construction of Bhavya Ram Temple will start till February 27.
