Ghee, milk, curd and butter are very much liked by Shri Krishna. Shri Krishna is called Makhanchor. According to mythology, Shri Krishna always ate with his friends by stealing butter. That is why he is also known as Makhanchor. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, you can make bhog for prasad using butter. This recipe is very easy to make.
Let’s know about these recipes-
To make these laddoos, heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews, pistachios and keep them aside. After this, heat the ghee in the same pan and fry the grated coconut. When the coconut becomes light golden brown, then take half a cup of sugar, a spoonful of cardamom powder. Put both these things in a separate pan and add half a cup of butter to it and mix all the things well. After this, add dry fruits to this mixture and make small laddus from the mixture.
Butter Die Berries
To make this recipe, prepare a paste by mixing one cup of butter and half a cup of fresh cream. Now add three teaspoons of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of chopped berries, half a cup of cranberries and a quarter of raisins to this mixture. Put ghee in a tray and pour the mixture and keep it in the fridge to cool down. When the mixture is set well, cut it into the shape of barfi.
Kesar Butter Peda
To make creamy peda, pour 2 liters of milk in a pan and keep stirring. In a bowl, mix 2 teaspoons warm milk, saffron seeds well. Mix a cup of butter in a pan, add half a cup of powdered sugar and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. After that turn off the gas and let it cool down. Then take out small pieces and flatten them like peda and garnish according to your choice and serve as prasad.
To make this recipe, take a big bowl, add 1 1/2 maida, 3 tbsp semolina, 1/2 tsp fennel powder and knead the dough with warm milk. After this, take a bowl and prepare a paste by mixing one cup butter, one cup grated coconut, one tablespoon cardamom powder, half cup powdered sugar. Now take out some of this dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin and put butter stuffing in it. Heat hot oil or ghee in a pan, seal the bundle and deep fry it and serve hot.
