Gold and silver prices saw a good rise as soon as the market opened on Thursday. Gold was trading at Rs 46379 per 10 gram on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at around 11.00 am on Thursday morning. Silver gained Rs 169.00 to trade at Rs 69400 per kg.
Gold prices fell sharply a day earlier. On Wednesday, gold closed at Rs 46,102 per 10 grams at the Saraf Bazar in Delhi. In the international market, gold declined to $ 1,786 an ounce while silver remained at $ 27.10 an ounce.
Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate. Gold touched its all-time high in the month of August. Gold had reached the level of Rs 56,200 per 10 grams. Since then, gold has become cheaper by Rs 9300. Silver also touched close to Rs 77,840 per kg. Since then, silver has become cheaper by Rs 9900.
