It not only heals dry and chapped lips but also adds a subtle natural tint and a pleasant floral aroma. Making rose lip balm at home is easy, cost-effective, and perfect for everyday lip care.
Ingredients Required
- Beeswax pellets – 1 tablespoon
- Coconut oil – 1 tablespoon
- Sweet almond oil or olive oil – 1 tablespoon
- Dried rose petals – 1 tablespoon
- Vitamin E capsule – 1
- Natural pink beetroot powder or alkanet powder (optional) – a pinch

Preparation Method
Begin by gently washing and drying the rose petals. Crush them slightly to release their natural oils. In a double boiler, add coconut oil and almond oil, then add the rose petals. Heat on low flame for 10–15 minutes, allowing the oil to absorb the rose essence. Strain the oil to remove petals.
In the same double boiler, melt beeswax and add the infused rose oil. Stir continuously until everything blends well. Add the vitamin E oil and optional natural color. Mix thoroughly and remove from heat.
Carefully pour the mixture into clean lip balm containers or small tins. Allow it to cool and solidify at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting.
How to Use
Apply a small amount of rose lip balm on clean lips whenever needed. Use it daily, especially before bedtime, to wake up with soft and hydrated lips. It can also be used as a base before applying lipstick.
