Jaggery, oil, honey, radish, parwal, bengal, greens and leaves should not be taken during Chaturmas. Doing so affects health. Due to which there is a hindrance in the meditation of Lord Vishnu. The period of Chaturmas is best for worshiping God, so family life should not be spent during this time. The devotee should lead a lonely life. One should follow celibacy and sleep on the ground. By not doing this, there remains a shortage of money in the life of the person.

One should not talk during the meal in Chaturmas. Failure to do so leads to suffering and suffering in life. Lemon, chilli, urad and gram should not be consumed in Chaturmas. At this time, whoever lives by drinking only milk or eating fruits, all his sins are removed.
