Kl Rahul out of Test series against New Zealand


New Delhi: Before the Test being played against New Zealand in Kanpur, Team India has suffered a major setback. Indian opener KL Rahul has been ruled out of the entire series due to injury. Suryakumar Yadav has been included in the team in place of KL Rahul. According to the information given by the BCCI, KL Rahul has a strain in his left thigh muscle, due to which he has to be ruled out of the entire Test series. Suryakumar Yadav has been included in the team in place of KL Rahul.

KL Rahul has been rested after which he will practice at the NCA and be fit for the tour of South Africa starting next month. This year was great for Suryakumar Yadav, his T20 and ODI debut also took place in 2021. And by the end of the year, he also got a place in the Test team. However, whether he will get a place in the playing XI in Kanpur will have to wait for now.
