Kangana gets National Award and Rajinikanth gets Phalke Award

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur presented the 67th National Film Awards and Dadasaheb Phalke Award at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi today. Kangana has won the National Award for Best Actress while Rajinikanth has been honored with the Dadasaheb Award. The 67th National Film Awards were announced in March 2021.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has won the National Award for Best Actress for her performances in Manikarnika and Panga. Kangana has received this award for the fourth time. Dhanush and Manoj Bajpayee have jointly won the Best Actor award. Manoj Bajpayee has won the Best Actor award for the film ‘Bhosale’ and Dhanush for the Tamil film ‘Asuran’. With this, Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Chhichhore’ has won the National Award for Best Hindi Film.

Now talking about other awards, B Praak has won the Best Male Playback Singer award for the song ‘Teri Mitti’ from the film ‘Kesari’. At the same time, ‘An Engineer Dream’ won the Best Film Award in the Non-Feature Film category. Markkar-Arabikadalinte-Simham has won the Best Feature Film award. With this, Anandi Gopal has received the award for the best film on social issues.
