Indian Railway Cancelled Train: In view of the power crisis in the country, the Railways has taken a big decision. For the next 20 days, the Railways has canceled at least 1100 trains. Due to this decision of the Railways, passengers are facing a lot of trouble.

Railway has been facing power crisis for some time now. To overcome this problem, Railways is transporting 15 percent additional coal by goods train to supply coal to different corners of the country. In such a situation, there is no problem in the transportation of coal in the country, due to which many passenger and express trains have been canceled.

These trains were canceled
Railways has decided to cancel at least 1100 trains till the month of May, which includes 500 express trains and 580 passenger trains. Due to the cancellation of trains, passengers may have to face a lot of trouble.

Decision taken for better supply of coal
Many states of the country are currently facing power crisis. In such a situation, to overcome this power crisis, Railways is getting more and more goods transported by its freight trains. In such a situation, commuters from coal producing states like Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are facing a lot of trouble.

A large number of trains in this state have been canceled. Many states of the country like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand. Many states like Delhi etc are facing power crisis. In such a situation, the government has decided to supply maximum coal by holding several meetings.

Rising electricity demand due to heat
According to media reports, Railway Board Chairman VK Tripathi has told that due to the scorching heat in April, an increase of about 20 percent has been registered in the consumption of electricity. In such a situation, to meet the increasing demand for electricity and coal, railways have to transport about 15 to 20 percent more coal in 2022 as compared to April 2021. In such a situation, the Railways has decided to cancel many trains.
