HIT: The First Case Box Office Collection Day 1

Rajkummar Rao’s action movie “HIT: The First Case” was released in cinemas. It is an Hindi adaptation of an South Indian film (Telugu) that has the same title. The film was written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu who also directed the original version. We also want to let you know that the first Telugu film’s sequel Hit The second part of the case is set to be released this July’s end. The Hindi remake with the voice of Rao has been screened in cinemas today and initial reviews are positive.

Reviews

Chirag Sehgal of News 18 gave the film 3.5 out of five stars, calling the plot predictable, but intrigued SiddharthKulkarni of Koimoi has compared the film to Andhadhun, saying that it’s not up to par with Aysuhmann’s film, but it’s not weak also, giving the film 3 stars out of 5. Bollywood Hungama also gave 3 out of 5 stars. They praises the screenplay and direction. The chase sequence, the songs and screenplays, the direction as well as the acting by Rajkummar Rao are the highlight of the film.

Screen Counts and Budgets

Rao is expected to perform actions in the film, which previously he had never attempted before. The critics are applauding the new look however, what the public will react to it remains to be determined. The first film is a film with a budget of mid-budget according to Amar Ujala Hindi which was made with an estimated budget of 35-40 crores. The film is released on around 1200 screens across India.

Box Office Collection Day 1

According to industry experts they expect the film to be released around Rs 1 – 1.5 Cr nett as there isn’t much buzz around the film. But, if the quality is of high quality, we’ve seen films do well at ticket sales Like Major (Hindi), The 777 Charlie, Rocketry (Hindi) etc., thanks to word-of-mouth.
