Good news for central employees, get 3 allowances in October salary, know details


7th Pay Commission: The central government is preparing to give a big gift to the government employees before Diwali 2021. In this connection, the Modi government had decided to increase the dearness allowance by 3 percent in the last cabinet meeting. Government employees will get House Rent Allowance (HRA) and education allowance along with this additional 3% DA in October 2021 salary. In other words, the central employees will get the increment for October 2021.

DA will get 31 percent
Along with the DA, the government has also increased the dearness relief (DR) for pensioners by 3 per cent. This hike in DA and DR will be effective from July 1, 2021. Now dearness allowance and dearness relief of central employees has been increased from 28 percent to 31 percent. This will directly benefit 47.14 lakh central government employees and 68.62 lakh pensioners.

How much will the DA increase?
If your basic salary is Rs 18,000, now you are getting Rs 5,030 DA at the rate of 28 per cent. Now it has increased by 3 percent. Now at 31 per cent you will get DA of Rs 5,580. In other words, if the basic salary of the employees is Rs. 1800 will get an increase of Rs 540 in DA. Higher your basic pay, higher will be the DA

Know what is DA?
Dearness Allowance is a fixed part of the basic salary of an employee. To reduce the impact of cloud cover in the country, the government gives expensive allowances to its employees. It is extended from time to time. Pensioners get this benefit in the form of Inflation Relief (DR). Central employees are getting good news once again. Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners may increase to 31 per cent. That is, the DA of employees can increase up to three percent.

Education allowance will also be given
According to the 7th Pay Commission, the central employees get an education allowance of Rs 2250. The employees were unable to claim it last year due to the Covid-19 lockdown. The Central Government has self-certified the claim of Children Education Allowance (CEA). Central employees get an allowance of Rs 2250. 2,250 per child for the education of 2 children. If the employees have not claimed the academic session from March 2020 to March 2021, they can do so now.

HRA will benefit
The Central Government has issued an order to increase House Rent Allowance (HRA) and DA on the basis of basic pay of government employees. According to the rules, HRA has been increased due to increase in DA by more than 25 percent. . In view of this, the central government has also decided to increase the HRA to 27 percent.
