PM Kisam Samman Nidhi Scheme: The 11th installment of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi has been announced on 31 May. An amount of Rs 21,000 crore has been transferred by the Central Government to the accounts of 10 crore farmers of the country through Direct Benefit Transfer. Now a new initiative has been taken in Uttar Pradesh to get this amount easily.
Know where and how you can get money sitting at home
In Uttar Pradesh, the Department of Posts has taken an initiative to provide easy access to the amount received by the farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Farmers can now get the money of ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’ at their home with the help of postal department.
‘Your Bank, Aapke Dwar’ campaign launched
Krishna Kumar Yadav, the postmaster general of Varanasi region, told that farmers have to go to the bank branch or ATM to withdraw money from the Kisan Samman Nidhi and it is difficult in rural areas. We are trying to make it easy for the farmers. Yadav informed that the Department of Posts is starting ‘Aapka Bank, Aapke Dwar’ campaign to benefit more and more farmers who have received PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Withdraw money from Kisan Samman Nidhi sitting at home
Under this scheme, farmers can withdraw money of Kisan Samman Nidhi from their Aadhaar linked bank account with Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) sitting at home. For this a postal representative will come to his house.
How long will the campaign run
The official said that this campaign will start from June 4 and will run till June 13. Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, eligible farmers get Rs 6000 annually which is sent to their bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer or Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Three times a year, two thousand rupees are sent to the account of farmers.
