Selena Gomez seems to have realized that her previous statements about handing over her life to Disney were misunderstood. The singer has now explained that the comments about her work on the Disney Channel were made in jest and that she is “beyond proud” of her previous work with the channel.

“I signed my life to Disney at a young age, so I didn’t know exactly what I was doing.
