Electric Scooter With 300 Km Range Launched Check Here Features Specs And More Details

Latest Electric Scooter: EV vehicle maker Horwin has announced the launch of a new 2022 SK3 electric scooter in its domestic market. The new SK3 is going to come across as a long range EV that supports connectivity features and great boot space.

While earlier, the 2021 SK3 electric scooter had a limited range of 80 km, the newly updated unit gets a full charge range of 300 km from its twin battery setup. Both the new batteries cover a distance of 160 km on a single charge. Needless to add, even in its single battery configuration, the SK3 offers more range than most electric scooters currently sold in the Indian market.

The new Horwin SK3 gets a 72V 36Ah battery pack that powers a 3.1kW motor with 6.3kW power output. This motor can take the scooter up to a top speed of 90 kmph. This scooter has just been launched in China.

The new SK3 also comes with a host of features that make it a very modern offering. Some of the key features of the scooter include its full-colour TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, a keyless power system and cruise control. Talking about the look, it gets sharp and muscular body panels which give it a premium appeal. Up front, there is a twin-beam LED headlamp which is paired with a darker, larger windscreen. Its sporty look has also been completed with the use of alloy wheels.

Apart from China, Horvin is also sold in the European market, however, it is not likely to be launched in the Indian market anytime soon. EV makers like Ather Energy and Ola Electric Retail are some very promising electric scooters for the Indian customers.
